Job summary

SpaceX seeks a leader to build and manage the team responsible for sourcing and supply chain strategy for datacenter compute infrastructure. The role oversees GPUs/accelerators, CPUs, storage, ODM/CM relationships, servers and racks to support SpaceXAI’s AI training clusters and compute facilities.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in related fields or 12+ years without a degree, with 3+ years in people management and team leadership, and a track record in hyperscale infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 8+ years in global supply chain, procurement, or commodity management focusing on compute hardware.
• 3+ years of people management.
• 3+ years of building, leading, and managing sourcing teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sourcing team focused on GPU/accelerators, CPUs, storage, ODM/CM, servers, and racks.
• Define commodity strategies and multi-year roadmaps in partnership with engineering and platform teams.
• Oversee end-to-end sourcing, supplier qualification, multi-sourcing, and performance management to meet aggressive build schedules.
• Orchestrate demand across SpaceXAI companies and align internal roadmaps with key vendors to secure preferential allocation and capacity.
• Negotiate major agreements focused on pricing, volume, technology access, and reliable delivery.
