Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Manager of Supply Chain for Datacenter Compute Infrastructure to lead global sourcing for GPUs, CPUs, storage, servers, and racks.

Based in Austin, TX or Palo Alto, CA, you will define multi-year commodity strategies, align with engineering and vendors, and secure capacity for large-scale AI infrastructure. You will build and mentor a high-performing team, drive cost reduction while preserving quality and reliability, and report KPIs to senior leadership to accelerate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 14+ years in compute hardware roles.
• 8+ years in global supply chain, procurement, or commodity management focusing on compute hardware.
• 4+ years of people management and building/leading sourcing teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sourcing team for GPUs/accelerators, CPUs, storage, servers, and racks.
• Define commodity strategies and multi-year roadmaps with engineering and vendors.
• Oversee end-to-end sourcing, supplier qualification, and performance management to meet build schedules.
• Negotiate major agreements focusing on pricing, volume, technology access, and reliable delivery.
• Manage ODM/CM relationships and drive improvements in server/rack designs and delivery.
