Job summary

Wesco seeks a Senior Manager Project Management to lead large-scale programs with significant budgets and complexity. You will define the team roadmap, align resources, and ensure milestones and budgets are met while managing internal and external teams.

You will have full authority on personnel actions and influence process governance. Responsibilities include directing project development end-to-end, delivering executive-ready reports, and developing staff in continuous improvement methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 10 years of experience in business and project management principles for large-scale projects.
• 5 years of proven management experience leading and developing a team.
• Ability to build relationships across functions and manage change.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Drive large-scale initiatives with high complexity and risk.
• Direct and manage project development from initiation to close.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective action.
• Collaborate with leaders to define scope, goals and deliverables.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements, and executive presentations.
• Draft and manage budgets and resource plans.
• Prioritize new demand intake and propose governance.
• Develop employees in continuous improvement tools.
• Align activities with safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Travel 0-25%.
