Job summary

Tampa Electric is recruiting a Senior Manager Business Planning to lead financial planning, forecasting and cost control across one or more business units. You will drive monthly close, reporting, and strategic analyses while guiding the planning team to align with regulatory and corporate objectives.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in accounting/finance with strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, plus familiarity with GAAP and regulatory accounting.

Qualifications

• 8 years of progressive accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and planning experience.
• CPA or professional finance certification preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial close, reporting, and variance analysis with BU leadership.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning with scenario analyses.
• Provide cost accounting guidance and ensure SOX/GAAP compliance.
• Manage and develop the Business Planning team.
