Job summary

Tampa Electric, a subsidiary of Emera Inc., invites a Sr Mgr Business Planning to lead financial planning, analysis, and oversight across O&M expenses and capital projects. You will guide senior leaders with forecasting, scenario analyses, and regulatory support, ensuring compliance and strong cost management.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with Accounting, Tax, Operations, and Regulatory teams, and driving continuous improvement within the Business Planning function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a finance-related field.
• Master's degree in Accounting/Finance or MBA preferred.
• CPA or other professional finance certifications requested.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financial and operational performance results, including month-end close and variance analyses.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for O&M and capital budgets.
• Provide guidance on accounting procedures, cost tracking, intercompany allocations, and SOX controls.
