This role involves leading a team to execute technical programs in a LEAN environment, focusing on designing, implementing, and testing control systems and embedded software for engine applications. Responsibilities include staffing, mentoring, driving program execution, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as DO-178C and MIL-HDBK-516C.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of control systems and embedded software for aircraft engines, including hardware and software components.
• Manage software development using languages like C/C++, Python, and tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.
• Mentor team members and grow the team's capabilities.
• Oversee testing, validation, and data analysis to meet performance and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop technical documentation and lead LEAN initiatives for process improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Software, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship provided.
