Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the delivery and client leadership for Cyber Resilience & Defense. You will own workstreams across the SOC, drive sales from RFP to staffing plans, and mentor teams while shaping modern security offerings with partners.

You will oversee SIEM/SOAR integration, threat detection, and automation, including AI-driven playbooks, while engaging C-suite stakeholders and scaling programs across hybrid and multi-cloud environments in Illinois and beyond.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security operations across multiple domains.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role in the SOC, Security Architecture or equivalent consulting roles.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on any leading SIEM/SOAR platform.
• Experience with Secure AI, agentic coding, AI architecture, or AI governance frameworks.
• 7+ years designing and optimizing log ingestion architectures across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• 7+ years of experience with threat intelligence frameworks and detection engineering methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SOC modernization engagements from assessment to design and implementation oversight.
• Develop SOC maturity roadmaps, operating models, staffing models, and playbook frameworks.
• Lead threat detection engineering, triage workflow redesign, and KPI framework development.
• Oversee integration of SIEM, SOAR, TIP, EDR, NDR, and UEBA platforms.
• Implement detection-as-code practices, Sigma rules, and CI/CD for detection deployment.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to create cutting edge capabilities with technology partners.
• Build relationships with technology partners (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Google SecOps).
• Deliver and evolve SOC offerings that incorporate automation and AI to improve defense.
• Build and scale the SOC modernization offering with methodologies, toolkits, and accelerators.
• Create IR runbooks and automate with AI capabilities via playbooks and agents.
• Advise clients on securing AI systems, including LLM-related attack surfaces and governance.
• Mentor senior consultants, managers, and architects; align with adjacent domains to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support Accenture sales efforts and contribute to proposals and staffing plans.
• Continue personal technical growth and delivery excellence.
