Role
Senior Manager in Security Operations (SecOps) Modernization and Agentic SOC responsible for leading client engagements to modernize Security Operations Centers (SOCs). Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, drive sales pursuits from RFP/RFI to Statements of Work, and develop Accenture’s SOC modernization offerings and accelerators.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SOC modernization engagements: current-state assessment, target-state design, technology selection, and implementation oversight.
- Develop SOC maturity roadmaps, operating models, staffing models, and playbook frameworks.
- Lead and quality-assure threat detection engineering, triage workflow redesign, and metrics/KPI framework development.
- Oversee integration of SIEM, SOAR, TIP, EDR, NDR, and UEBA platforms.
- Implement detection-as-code practices, author and manage Sigma rules, build CI/CD pipelines for detection deployment, and version detection logic in source control.
- Build and maintain relationships with technology partners (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Google SecOps) to support go-to-market efforts.
- Deliver and evolve SOC offerings that incorporate automation and AI, including AI-enabled playbooks and agents.
- Create incident response runbooks and facilitate automation using AI capabilities.
- Advise clients on securing AI systems and LLM-specific attack surfaces (prompt injection, model poisoning, data exfiltration).
- Define delivery standards, mentor senior consultants/managers/architects, and collaborate across Cloud Security, Identity, CTEM, and AI security domains.
- Contribute to business development and pitch on sales efforts as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in security operations across multiple domains.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role in SOC, Security Architecture, or equivalent consulting roles.
- Minimum 5 years of experience on any leading SIEM/SOAR platform.
- At least 1 year of experience in Secure AI, agentic coding, AI architecture, or AI governance frameworks.
- Minimum 7 years of experience designing, optimizing, and assessing log ingestion architectures, including normalization schemas, parsing logic, and data routing strategies across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
- Minimum 7 years of business development experience, including ownership of $2M+ annual bookings or pipeline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience with threat intelligence frameworks and detection engineering methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (or equivalent years of experience per posting rules).
- Strong executive communication skills and the ability to distill technical complexity for C-suite audiences.
Preferred / Bonus
- Advanced credentials such as GCIA, GDET, GCIH, CISSP, CISM or similar.
- Experience building client relationships and working across diverse communities (domain experts, engineers, designers).
Travel & Other
- Travel may be required; varies from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
