Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Sr. Manager in Risk Management Business Process and Insights. You will turn complex risk needs into practical automation, reporting, and AI-enabled solutions, working across business, risk, data, and technology teams.

You will lead testing, adoption, and governance while delivering scalable data transformations and dashboards to improve decision-making. This role emphasizes collaboration, curiosity, and integrity within a hybrid Westlake, TX/Lone Tree, CO footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 7+ years in risk analysis, compliance, accounting/finance, brokerage operations, internal audit, or legal.
• 5+ years in business analysis: requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder interviews, documentation, solution design.
• Proven track record in automating business processes, workflow redesign, reporting, data transformation, or digital tools.
• Strong analytical skills to derive insights, dashboards, and reporting for stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SQL, data models, data transformation concepts, and tools like Power BI/Tableau/Power Platform/SharePoint/Python.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools, copilots, intelligent automation, or emerging tech in process improvement.
• 3+ years coordinating testing, UAT, implementation readiness, change management, and adoption.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to map processes, define requirements, and translate needs into scalable automation, reporting, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to simplify workflows, strengthen handoffs, and expand automation and data transformation.
• Develop and maintain data transformation processes, dashboards, reporting tools, and insights for risk management data.
• Develop and optimize data models, SQL queries, and transformations to improve data quality, accessibility, and usability.
• Identify and shape practical AI-enabled use cases, with clear outcomes, governance, and adoption plans.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, implementation readiness, and change management with stakeholders.
