Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States is seeking a Sr Manager, Computer Vision Inference to lead 2-3 ML engineering teams focused on real-time video analytics on edge devices. You will drive high-performance inference, collaborate across hardware, firmware, silicon, and product teams, and mentor engineers to deliver production-ready CV solutions.

The role requires deep CV and DL expertise, experience leading large teams (20-30 engineers), and a startup mindset with ownership and agile

Qualifications

• Educational background: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Vision, AI, CS, or related field.
• 7+ years of engineering leadership experience in CV and DL teams delivering edge/embedded software.
• 5+ years hands-on experience building and optimizing CV models or algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-3 ML engineering teams to develop, optimize, and deploy CV/DL solutions on edge devices.
• Architect end-to-end video analytics pipelines with real-time processing under edge constraints.
• Collaborate with hardware, platform, firmware, and AI research teams for seamless integration and deployment.
• Drive high-performance ML inference to maximize throughput and minimize latency across platforms.
• Define core performance metrics and ensure mission-critical reliability.
• Mentor and grow ML and CV engineers, fostering engineering excellence.
