IQ-EQ in Chicago seeks a Senior Manager for Private Equity Fund Accounting to lead complex fund accounting and oversight. You will guide journal entries, investor allocations, capital calls, and waterfall models, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance across multiple funds.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in private equity or related roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Proven leadership of high-performing teams
• Strong analytical and technical skills in accounting & administration for alt funds
• Proficient with QuickBooks, Excel, Word and Investran

Responsibilities

• Support IQ-EQ client leads across multiple Private Equity funds ensuring deliverables align with LPAs and client expectations
• Manage and review journal entries, investor allocations, capital calls/distributions, fees and carried interest calculations, and waterfall models
• Oversee preparation and delivery of financial statements, disclosures, schedules, and investor notices; coordinate with auditors and tax teams at year-end
• Assess and enhance operational processes; handle routine and ad-hoc client requests; prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Train and mentor junior team members to maintain high accuracy and timeliness
