Job summary

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP seeks a Pricing and Matter Analytics Senior Manager to oversee budgeting, pricing and profitability analysis for client engagements. You will drive pricing strategy with firm management to ensure engagements meet profitability goals.

You will lead the Pricing Team, manage a Pricing Analyst, and develop data-driven dashboards and templates across legal and consulting work, emphasizing data governance in financial systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field required.
• MBA a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of legal pricing experience.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with Professional Services firms and Aderant is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research pricing trends and develop pricing strategies and procedures.
• Manage the Pricing Team and a Pricing Analyst in daily operations.
• Create budget templates for various legal and consulting work.
• Modify pricing processes using industry data and peer benchmarks.
• Support partners with profitable pricing solutions and fee arrangements.
• Provide analytics to optimize profitability and matter predictability.
• Develop client/matter dashboards with data governance.
