Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking a Sr. Manager, Program and Project Management within the Pharmacy team.

You will lead the pharmacy accounts and sales support function, report to the Director of Pharmacy Services, and drive membership growth, retention, and client renewals for fully insured and self-funded programs. This role emphasizes leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration with brokers and consultants, while supporting product strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires a college degree or equivalent experience.
• Requires 10 years of prior relevant experience, including 4 years of management experience
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written skills with ability to convey complex ideas to audience with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy accounts and sales support team for employer group accounts and client renewal.
• Support membership growth and retention strategies and initiatives.
• Drive new membership acquisition for fully insured and self-funded pharmacy membership.
• Contribute to development of pharmacy products and initiative strategies.
