Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking a Sr. Manager, Program and Project Management to lead the pharmacy accounts and sales support team, driving growth in employer group memberships and client renewals for fully insured and self-funded plans.

You will report to the Director, Pharmacy Services and help shape strategy for pharmacy products and initiatives while fostering leadership and continuous learning across the organization.

Qualifications

• Requires a college degree or equivalent experience.
• Requires 10 years of prior relevant experience, including 4 years of management experience.
• Experience presenting pharmacy program value to clients, brokers, and consultants.
• Experience in pharmacy benefit client contracting with understanding of contracting tactics and marketplace requirements.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written skills with the ability to understand and convey complex ideas to audience with diverse backgrounds.
• Strong business acumen with proven experience in strategy development and planning.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
