Job summary

Highwire seeks a Senior Manager, People Operations (Payroll, Benefits & Analytics) in New York to lead payroll, benefits and people analytics for a multistate workforce. You’ll own Rippling configuration, payroll tax, benefits design, and data‑driven insights that drive decisions at the intersection of People, Finance and operations.

The ideal candidate has deep payroll and benefits expertise, strong analytical skills and a track record of partnering with Finance, brokers and vendors to optimize

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of progressive experience across multistate payroll, benefits and HR operations.
• Experience with Rippling payroll platform and payroll tax administration.
• Strong analytics, data storytelling and cross‑functional partnership skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end payroll administration for multistate workforce, including taxes and year‑end processes.
• Lead benefits strategy, renewals, modeling and communication.
• Oversee 401(k) plan administration, audits and Form 5500 support.
• Manage leave administration across states and ensure compliance with laws.
• Build and advance people analytics capabilities to inform leadership.
