Job summary

InsurePay is seeking a Director of Payroll Operations to own end-to-end performance of our payroll connectivity platform, driving strategy across integrations, data workflows, and processes. You will oversee data pipelines, premium calculation engines, and disbursement workflows to scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations management or product-operations within B2B SaaS or insurance tech.
• At least 2+ years in workers’ comp, payroll data, or adjacent domain.
• End-to-end ownership of operational processes from intake to reporting.
• Strong familiarity with API products and data integration.
• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments with security and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll connectivity operations, including integrations and data flows.
• Drive strategy and roadmap for payroll integrations focusing on accuracy and throughput.
• Lead discovery with carriers and payroll providers; translate into requirements.
• Partner with engineering to deliver API-first capabilities for data ingestion and reconciliation.
• Identify and implement RPA solutions to automate workflows and reduce manual work.
• Define and monitor KPIs for data quality, processing accuracy, and onboarding timelines.
