Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in risk management, governance, or similar roles.
• Experience in risk management and risk assessments within banking, brokerage, or financial services.
• Analytical thinking and decision making demonstrated through complex risk scenarios.
• Excellent communication, with ability to present assessments to leadership.
• Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and influence without direct ownership.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and drive projects to conclusions.
• Executive presence and strategic thinking in risk discussions.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent oversight and effective challenge of business-led initiatives.
• Challenge CST process execution, governance, controls, and cross-functional handoffs to address operational risks.
• Assess CST-related issues, remediation activities, and emerging risk themes across Finance, Treasury, and risk teams.
• Mentor partners to ensure adherence to risk framework elements and policy requirements.
• Oversee design and maintenance of processes and controls to manage risks.
• Identify and remediate operational risk issues per framework requirements.
• Analyze operational risk data to support risk identification, monitoring, and reporting.
• Monitor emerging risks and industry trends related to Capital Stress Testing.
