Job summary
TerraPower LLC is seeking a senior manager to lead Natrium Fuel Handling Systems engineering and delivery. You will oversee the Water Pool Fuel Handling System and Dry Cask Storage System design, manage TerraPower staff and subcontractors, and coordinate with project management and interfaces across multiple technical groups to deliver safe, reliable systems.
The role requires a strong background in nuclear engineering, experience with quality standards, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
- 10+ years experience with design and/or engineering management of system and/or component design.
- Experience with preparation and approval of specifications, calculations, drawings/diagrams and other design documentation.
- Experience within the nuclear or energy sectors is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve engineering design documentation.
- Ensure design configuration and interfaces are controlled.
- Ensure engineering work complies with quality, technical, and procedural requirements.
- Oversee supplier/partner/vendor technical work.
- Identify technical and project risks associated with design and operation.
