Job summary

ShipMonk is seeking a Sr. Facilities & Automation Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance across multiple in-house fulfillment centers. You will drive proactive, data-driven maintenance, build automation capabilities, and ensure safe, efficient operations in a rapidly growing environment.

You will manage a team of technicians, develop standard work, and partner with Ops, IT, Inventory, and Transportation to achieve regional goals. 50% travel is required to visit regional facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial) or related field; 10+ years of progressive leadership in facilities/maintenance in complex industrial environments preferred.
• Certifications such as CFM or FMP from IFMA are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance operations across multiple ShipMonk facilities, leading in-house maintenance technicians.
• Coach and develop the maintenance team; use data and diagnostics to identify root causes and address issues.
• Oversee systemic maintenance reporting, escalation protocols, and ticketing to minimize downtime.
• Ensure safe operations, compliance with OSHA and safety regulations, and alignment with cross-functional teams.
• Develop budgets, manage vendor contracts, and monitor maintenance expenditures.
