Job summary

The role directs teams, defines technical scopes, negotiates trade-offs for DFX, and ensures cost-optimized solutions while tracking KPIs and providing regular performance feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 11 to 14 years of experience in manufacturing/process engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer technical roadmaps and manage customer-specific process development projects.
• Lead teams to develop fully costed manufacturing solutions for multiple engagements.
• Identify and manage new customer-specific process development projects.
• Define the scope of technical work, coordinate teams, direct assignments and assist in issue resolution across the product life cycle.
• Evaluate, optimize and negotiate trade-offs for DFX with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to deliver cost-optimized solutions.
• Assess potential manufacturing impact for each design concept.
• Evaluate supplier capability and capacity.
• Contribute to best-practice standards and provide training and support globally.
• Set yearly plans and monitor performance against KPIs.
