Senior Manager (Maintenance - Building Services)

We are looking for an experienced Building Services professional to lead the maintenance, improvement and operation of building services installations across a sizeable property portfolio. The role is responsible for ensuring building services systems are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability and performance.

The Job

• Planning and implementing preventive maintenance programmes for building services installations.
• Leading fault diagnosis and recovery during major system failures and coordinating contingency actions for serious incidents.
• Administering maintenance and repair contracts and resolving technical and contractual issues with contractors.
• Recommending and managing improvement works to enhance safety, resident comfort and operational efficiency.
• Controlling major improvement projects from planning and design through testing, commissioning and completion, ensuring cost, quality and programme targets are achieved.
• Coordinating the handover of new development projects and overseeing defect rectification processes.
• Leading and developing technical staff to ensure effective delivery of maintenance services.
• Providing professional advice to customers and stakeholders on building services design, operation and maintenance.

The Person

• Degree holder in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Possession of a recognised professional qualification in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in building services engineering, including at least 5 years' post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience in the design and development of new building projects.
• Strong knowledge of building services systems, engineering practices, relevant ordinances and regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with experience in supervising and motivating technical teams.
• Strong project management, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
