Salary: HK$34,705 — HK$40,220 (HGPS point 13 – 16) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in carrying out periodic building inspection for early identification and rectification of defects in existing public hospitals and institutions.
• Conduct daily patrol in common areas and work places to identify defects / signs of defects.
• Assist in coordination with end-users for arrangement of repair works.
• Supervise the repair works to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Work according to duty roster and attend emergency calls after office hours as requested.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned by supervisor(s).

Entry Requirements:

• (a) Ordinary Certificate in Building Studies from the Hong Kong Polytechnic /Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Hong Kong Technical College / Hong Kong Technical Institute / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent; OR (b) Completed a recognized Technician Apprenticeship in a building discipline;
• At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience;
• A knowledge of English and Chinese equivalent to Form 3 (before 2012) / Secondary 3 standard.
• Obtained valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card).

Preferable Attributes / Exposure:

• Knowledge of other common office automation (e.g. e-mail, Internet / Intranet, MSWord, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, AutoCAD and other MS Office applications, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Outgoing and able to work under pressure and stressful situation, including crises.
• Formal training in occupational safety and health.
