Job summary

Ameren Missouri seeks a Manager, Large Load Customer Development to lead efforts targeting data centers, advanced manufacturing, and other energy-intensive customers. You will align customer development, system readiness, and external partnerships to deliver reliable outcomes.

The role requires managing a team, negotiating interconnections, and coordinating across functional groups to win and execute large-load opportunities while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Seven+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with large load customer development, economic or community development, or utility/infrastructure leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team pursuing large load opportunities and drive revenue growth.
• Oversee a portfolio of large load projects with milestone execution and clear handoffs.
• Negotiate interconnection, construction, and electric service agreements.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with design, regulatory, legal, and project teams.
• Liaise with state, regional, and local economic development partners.
• Influence site readiness, cost, and timing decisions for customers and partners.
• Use data and metrics to evaluate pipeline performance and guide priorities.
• Drive continuous process improvements in customer development and stakeholder engagement.
