Ameren Missouri is seeking an Engineer to perform engineering studies, design, and project management for power generation plant systems, with travel across Missouri. The role focuses on supporting Missouri Regulated Generation Non-Nuclear plants and coordinating with external contractors and internal teams.
Qualifications include a BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), PE license and PMP are preferred, along with relevant experience in high/low voltage equipment and protective relaying.

The Engineer performs engineering studies, design, and project management activities for new and existing power generation plant systems. This position has primary responsibility for supporting Missouri Regulated Generation Non-Nuclear plants with travel required.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university required. Electrical Engineering degree preferred. PE License preferred. PMP certificate also preferred. Relevant engineering experience preferred. Experience managing, supervising, or leading people preferred. Experience with low/medium/high voltage electrical equipment, including but not limited to switchgear, MCCs, motors, transformers, buses, etc., preferred Experience with protective relaying preferred. Experience with arc flash analysis and electrical modeling preferred.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Must possess excellent analytical, communication, computer, human relations, and leadership skill. Travel between power plants and the EDPM and outside of the St. Louis area required. Subject to call-outs, nights, weekends and/or holiday work to support power plants.

Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and/or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.
$71,100.00 - $172,200.00
* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant's credentials.
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
