Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in medical interpretation in a healthcare setting.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a medical environment.
• Bachelor-level education in health administration or nursing.
• Fluency in bilingual medical terminology and patient communication.
• Familiarity with ethics standards for medical interpreting (NCIHC).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and accountability for system-wide translation and interpretation services.
• Lead strategic planning and quality monitoring for language services.
• Build strong working relationships with management, staff and providers.
• Promote translation services and manage budget with the director.
• Oversee training, staff development, and personnel actions.
• Support safety initiatives and staff performance reviews.
