Qualifications

• Familiarity with regulations, accreditation and compliance in health care translation.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and accountability for translation and interpretation systems across the organization.
• Participates in strategic planning for language services.
• Ensures quality monitoring and improvement of interpretation services.
• Builds relationships with management, staff and medical personnel to support LEP and deaf/hard of hearing patients.
• Designs activities to promote Translation and Interpretation Services.
• Develops budgets and monitors expenditures.
• Leads staff development, training, and performance reviews.
• Supports safety initiatives and risk management.
