Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Insurance & Risk Management to lead the company-wide risk program from our Falls Church, VA headquarters. You will oversee P&C insurance, risk financing, surety, and captive management while partnering with executive leadership.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in construction-related risk management, strong analytics, and excellent communication skills to drive strategies across multiple operating companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and professional risk credentials preferred.
• 7+ years in insurance and risk management within construction, manufacturing, or logistics.
• Proven P&C program design, placement, and management experience.
• Experience with loss-sensitive and fronted casualty programs.
• Solid knowledge of liability, property, and workers' compensation claims.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide insurance programs including P&C, general liability, workers' comp, auto, property, umbrella, professional, pollution, cyber, management liability, and builder's risk.
• Oversee the annual insurance renewal process, market negotiations, coverage analysis, and program design.
• Negotiate terms with carriers/brokers to optimize coverage and cost.
• Oversee surety bonding programs and broker relationships.
• Coordinate captive management activities and regulatory filings across jurisdictions.
• Develop enterprise risk management strategy and governance with stakeholders.
