Job summary

HITT Contracting seeks a Senior Manager, Claims & Risk Management to lead enterprise claims strategy across all property and casualty lines for the company and affiliates. You will guide reserving, litigation oversight, and risk financing with executive leadership.

The role requires 12+ years in multi-line commercial claims, 5+ years in leadership, and strong proficiency in data analytics. Travel may be required as needed in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• 12+ years multi-line commercial claims experience, incl. 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience with large deductible, self-insured, captive, and OCIP/CCIP programs.
• Multi-jurisdictional claims expertise incl. New York Labor Law.
• Experience in construction (AEC) industry or commercial real estate preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and translating data into business recommendations.
• Willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise claims strategy aligned with risk plan.
• Lead claims governance, SOPs, authority levels, escalation.
• Lead and develop claims team; workload planning and growth.
• Oversee claim strategy, reserving, and loss development.
• Lead insured litigation strategy and panel counsel oversight.
• Oversee OCIP/CCIP claims and recovery opportunities.
• Provide quarterly forecasts on claims expenditures.
