Job summary

ECG Management Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager for its Health System Alignment (HSA) practice.

You will guide project teams, shape client strategy, manage complex engagements, and contribute to firm growth across academic and community health systems. In this role, you will coach and develop talent, lead business development efforts, and build strong client relationships while delivering insights that influence governance, funds flow, and organizational design.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business administration or health-related field preferred.
• 8+ years of healthcare consulting or healthcare finance and operations experience.
• Experience with academic health systems on organizational design, physician alignment, and funds flow.
• Ability to lead complex projects, oversee teams, and coach talent at multiple levels.
• Advanced experience with data analysis, structured problem-solving, and executive communication.
• Strong business judgment, client management skills, and ability to navigate dynamic environments.
• Proven ability to contribute to or lead business development.
• Commitment to mentoring junior team members and contributing to a positive culture.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead large portions of project work with advanced project management tools to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
• Demonstrate mastery across project types: planning, resource allocation, budget monitoring, and performance oversight.
• Conduct complex analyses aligning findings with client needs and objectives.
• Diagnose root causes and guide teams through rigorous problem-solving approaches.
• Facilitate strategic discussions with client stakeholders and gain buy-in on recommendations.
• Lead change management efforts and resolve conflicting priorities.
