Blue Origin is seeking a Sr Manager of Supply Chain & Logistics in Huntsville, AL. The role embeds with engineering and manufacturing teams to own end-to-end supply chain performance for aerospace programs, including strategic sourcing, LTAs, and supplier readiness.

You will lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of professional buyers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across multi-facility operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain within aerospace/advanced manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience directly managing procurement teams.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for supplier engagement and site visits.
• Hands-on proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Experience with Firm-Fixed Price contracts and LTAs.

Responsibilities

• Own program-level supply chain performance including schedule, cost, and EAC.
• Direct, mentor, and develop a team of Supply Chain Buyers.
• Lead strategic sourcing and negotiation of FFP contracts and LTAs.
• Develop procurement policies, templates, and digital tools.
• Analyze material flow data and supplier performance to close gaps.
• Lead supplier capacity management and planning for production ramp.
• Oversee readiness reviews and manufacturing readiness levels with partners.
• Manage supplier schedules to keep program milestones.
• Communicate program status and risks to leadership.
