Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team of SP Instruments Supplier Engineers, ensuring supply continuity and driving cost-efficient production.

The role focuses on supplier quality, capability and capacity development, risk mitigation, and alignment with enterprise supply chain objectives. You will coach and develop talent while partnering with cross-functional teams to scale manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Develop leadership capability through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and organizational development.
• Lead a team of supplier engineers who deliver value to the business through specified activities.
• Develop and execute a global supply-chain strategy and roadmap to support product strategy and ramp.
• Conduct market research for supplier selection to enable agility and innovation during NPI.
• Drive supplier development, performance, and compliance with QMS requirements.
• Identify and mitigate supply-chain risks through cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop leadership capability through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and organizational development.
• Lead a team of supplier engineers who deliver value to the business through the following activities.
• Supply-chain Strategy: Develop and execute a global supply-chain strategy and roadmap to support Intuitive’s product strategy and ramp.
• Supplier Selection: Conduct market research to identify trends and select suppliers to enable agility and global production scale.
• Supplier Development and collaboration: Drive new technologies and automation in the supply chain; adopt best practices like Lean, Six-sigma, and Project management.
• Supplier Performance and Monitoring: Develop KPIs to monitor delivery, capacity, cost, and quality; drive continuous improvement.
• Supplier Compliance: Work with Supplier Quality to resolve audit findings and maintain QMS compliance.
• Supplier Risk management: Identify risks and implement mitigation with Global Supply Chain and cross-functional teams.
• Supplier Change management: Execute change processes for large-scale projects supporting capacity scaling and cost reduction.
• Stakeholder Influence: Align project ownership and hand-off with peer supplier engineering groups and key partners.
