Intuitive Surgical, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Supplier Process Engineer (Finance) in Sunnyvale, CA. You will drive supplier quality, cost, and process improvements across the supply base while mentoring teams.

The role requires deep experience in supplier engineering, CAPA/SCAR, and regulatory standards with strong project management and cross-functional collaboration. Will travel ~25% domestically/internationally.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of supplier part qualifications, change controls, and design controls.
• Ability to evaluate supplier technical, quality, and business capabilities.
• Experience implementing Lean/ Six Sigma/ SPC at supplier sites.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes including metal fabrication, plastics, extrusions, electronics.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex supplier changes including process and design changes and new equipment qualifications.
• Lead supplier qualification deliverables like First Article, pFMEA, IQ/OQ/PQ, RCA, and SCAR.
• Drive cost reductions, capacity improvements, and risk mitigation with suppliers.
• Participate in supplier selection focusing on long-term fit and total cost of ownership.
• Coordinate cross-functional communications and act as external spokesperson when needed.
• Close supplier nonconformances from symptom to corrective action.
