Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain professional to manage direct materials suppliers and drive category strategy across global procurement. You will lead cross-functional teams, negotiate long-term contracts, and align sourcing with new product development to ensure uninterrupted material availability and cost goals.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in regulated manufacturing, strong Excel and ERP skills, and a track record of reducing total cost of ownership through strategic sourcing

Qualifications

• Experience using strategic sourcing principles, including category strategy development and supplier management.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of savings and favorable contract terms.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems, especially Excel.
• Proven project management ability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Solid knowledge of kanban and lean principles; ability to forecast and plan materials.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply chain of assigned direct materials suppliers and parts to support continuity and optimization, including sourcing and contract negotiations.
• Lead cross-functional category teams and develop category roadmaps in line with business objectives.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to align production needs with NPI and long-term strategy.
• Drive supplier scorecards, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor inventory, demand changes, and lead time to minimize shortages and excess.
