Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Manager, Clinical Operations to oversee Phase 1–3 trials, manage internal study teams, CROs, sites, and vendors, and ensure on-time delivery. You will coordinate trial activities, track timelines, and drive cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 7+ years in clinical trials with sponsor/CRO experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
• 7+ years of clinical trial experience with 2+ years managing studies at sponsor or CRO.
• Experience in global regulatory and compliance requirements for clinical research (US CFR, EU CTD, ICH E6(R2) GCP).
• Phase 1–3 study experience or international studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide daily oversight of internal study teams, CROs, sites and vendors.
• Triage, resolve, or elevate study issues to Clinical Operations Management.
• Evaluate scenarios and achieve timelines per study protocols.
• Manage area or study timelines, budgets, SMT and on-time delivery.
• Guide Biometrics, PV and others to ensure study execution per plans and SOPs.
• Track study status, enrollment, regulatory docs, and site start-up.
• Develop input into clinical study documents (protocol, ICF templates, study tools).
• Oversee CRO/vendor budgets and forecast changes with Strategic Procurement.
• Track trial materials and laboratory samples.
• Lead cross-functional activities to meet SMT goals and communicate issues.
• Provide strategic input into study management.
• Willingness to travel 10-20% domestically and internationally.
• Face-to-face work in San Diego; not 100% remote.
