Job summary

Belltower Funds is seeking a Fund Migrations Senior Manager to lead fund accounting operations and migrations on a remote-first basis for clients in the United States and Canada. You will drive high‑quality service, manage a growing team, and partner with product, engineering, and operations to automate processes.

You will guide onboarding, accounting operations, financial reporting, and capital activity, developing managers and ensuring scalable, efficient delivery across the fund lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in public accounting, fund administration, fund accounting, or investment operations.
• CPA license strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive people leadership managing managers and high‑performing teams.
• Deep knowledge of investment company accounting (ASC 946), fund structures, capital activity and reporting.
• Proven track record leading large‑scale process improvements or fund migration projects.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and organizational skills for high‑performing teams.
• Excellent project management and ability to balance strategic initiatives with day‑to‑day operations.
• Outstanding communication and relationship management with senior leaders and clients.
• Experience using metrics and data to drive decisions and scale service delivery.
• Strategic mindset with passion for scalable processes, innovation, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team responsible for fund accounting operations and fund migrations, ensuring high‑quality client service and meeting objectives.
• Provide leadership across the full lifecycle of fund administration, including onboarding, accounting operations, reporting, capital activity, and migrations.
• Coach, mentor, and develop managers and contributors through feedback and career development plans.
• Establish standards, KPIs, and quality controls to drive consistency, scalability, and improvement.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Operations to improve systems and automate processes.
• Serve as escalation point for complex accounting and client issues while maintaining client relationships.
• Oversee resource planning, capacity management and prioritization to meet deadlines and SLAs.
• Drive operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies and standardizing workflows.
• Build trusted relationships with investment managers, auditors, tax providers, and legal counsel.
• Look at processes and explore AI/automation to improve them.
