Job summary

Belltower Funds is seeking a senior leader for fund migrations and accounting to drive accurate reporting and onboarding for venture funds on the AngelList platform. You will manage a team, partner across product, engineering and client relations, and shape scalable processes.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, automation, and AI integration to improve client outcomes and efficiency. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in fund accounting, CPA preferred, and strong leadership to guide

Qualifications

• 10+ years in fund accounting or investment operations.
• CPA license preferred.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience managing managers and high-performing accounting or operations teams.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 946, fund structures, capital activity, and financial reporting.
• Experience leading complex operational initiatives and fund migrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team for fund accounting operations and migrations, ensuring consistent execution and high-quality client service.
• Oversee full lifecycle of fund administration, onboarding, accounting operations, financial reporting, capital activity and fund conversions.
• Coach and develop managers and individual contributors through regular feedback and career development planning.
• Establish operational standards, KPIs, and quality control processes to drive consistency and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Operations to improve internal systems and automate processes.
• Serve as escalation point for complex accounting, operational, and client issues while maintaining client relationships.
• Oversee resource planning, capacity management, and prioritization to meet deadlines and service levels.
• Drive process improvements and standardize workflows across fund accounting and migration functions.
• Build trusted relationships with investment managers, auditors, tax providers, and legal counsel.
