Job summary

Belltower Fund Group is seeking a remote Senior Manager to lead fund accounting operations and migrations on the AngelList platform. You will supervise a team, drive onboarding and reporting, and partner across Product, Engineering, and Operations to enhance automation and efficiency.

The role emphasizes building scalable processes, mentoring managers, and delivering high-quality client service in a remote-first environment across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or investment operations, with venture capital/ private equity exposure.
• CPA license strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive people leadership experience managing managers and teams.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 946, fund structures, capital activity, and financial reporting.
• Proven success leading complex operational initiatives and system implementations.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills with cross-functional influence.
• Experience leveraging data and automation to scale service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for fund accounting operations and fund migrations, ensuring high-quality client service.
• Provide oversight across onboarding, accounting operations, financial reporting, capital activity, investor servicing, and migrations.
• Coach and develop managers and contributors with performance feedback and succession planning.
• Establish KPIs and QC processes to drive consistency, scalability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to automate processes and improve client experience.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues while maintaining client relationships.
• Manage resource planning, capacity, and prioritization to meet deadlines and SLAs.
• Drive operational excellence by standardizing workflows across fund accounting and migrations.
• Build trusted relationships with investors, auditors, tax providers, legal counsel, and external stakeholders.
• Explore AI opportunities to optimize existing processes.
