• Oversees preparation of grant proposals and budgets.
• Manages post‑award financial reporting, forecasting, and compliance.
• Trains, mentors, and supervises sponsored programs staff and prepares reports.
• Negotiates contractual provisions with potential partners.
• Ensures grants and contracts adhere to organizational standards and policies.
• Acts as liaison with faculty and central administrative offices.
• Maintains proficiency in UM financial systems (IBIS, Workday, Velos).
• Completes onboarding and continuing education for ORA access.
