Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Manager to lead a team of Enterprise Technical Leads while owning a subset of complex enterprise engagements. This player-coach role blends people leadership with hands-on technical ownership, aimed at scaling both our delivery capability and our people.

You will mentor engineers, architect scalable solutions, and partner with product, engineering, GTM, science, and privacy to unblock delivery and align priorities. This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership position.

Qualifications

5–8+ years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., solutions engineering, implementations, technical program management, or similar).
Proven track record leading complex enterprise implementations or integrations.
Ability to operate at both team leadership and hands-on technical contributor levels simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing team of Enterprise Technical Leads, elevating their ability to solve complex problems and operate independently.
Own high-impact enterprise engagements (player-coach) by directing complex, high-stakes customer work and architecting scalable technical solutions.
Drive cross-functional alignment with Product, Engineering, Strategic Engagement, and GTM teams to unblock delivery and align priorities.
Scale systems, not just solutions, by identifying patterns and contributing to internal tooling and process improvements.
Deliver end-to-end technical delivery for large, high-impact enterprise customers, spanning multiple systems and stakeholders.
