Job summary

Saab, Inc. seeks an experienced Manager, Supply Chain Materials to lead Materials Operations, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering across the organization. The role centers on establishing a single enterprise-wide operating model and standardizing governance, KPIs, and leadership across multiple U.S.

locations and satellite warehouses. The position requires 12+ years in supply chain leadership (or 10+ with a Master’s), strong material management and logistics expertise, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a complex manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated environment.
• Experience leading multi-site operations or enterprise-level initiatives and standardizing processes across multiple locations or business units.
• Strong Materials Management, Warehousing, and inventory control experience with working knowledge of domestic and international logistics.
• Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation, continuous improvement, and team development.
• Strong analytical, ERP/data, and performance management capabilities.
• Ability to travel approximately 20% annually to Saab, Inc. locations across the United States.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a standardized enterprise operating model for Materials, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering.
• Establish common governance, operating standards, KPIs, roles, responsibilities, and accountability across Saab, Inc. locations.
• Balance enterprise standardization with site-specific production, program, and customer requirements.
• Develop enterprise Materials strategy and continuous improvement roadmap.
• Build organizational capability and develop site and functional leaders.
• Lead cross-site initiatives focused on operational performance, scalability, cost, service, and risk reduction.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive enterprise-wide improvements.
