Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manager, Supply Chain Materials to lead Materials Operations, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering across the organization. This senior role builds a standardized enterprise operating model and drives cross-site initiative execution across Syracuse, NY and other locations.

The position emphasizes leadership, transformation, and the ability to move from strategy to execution while partnering with multiple functions to improve performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a complex manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated environment.
• Experience leading multi-site operations or enterprise-level initiatives and standardizing processes across multiple locations or business units.
• Strong Materials Management, Warehousing, and inventory control experience with working knowledge of domestic and international logistics.
• Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation, continuous improvement, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a standardized enterprise operating model for Materials, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering.
• Establish common governance, operating standards, KPIs, roles, responsibilities, and accountability across Saab, Inc. locations.
• Balance enterprise standardization with site-specific production, program, and customer requirements.
• Develop and execute the enterprise Materials strategy and continuous improvement roadmap.
• Build organizational capability and develop site and functional leaders.
