Job summary

HUB International is seeking a Senior Manager for Select Business – Employee Benefits to lead a New England EB team within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You will guide sales, service, and strategy, driving profitable growth while aligning with HUB’s national capabilities.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in EB insurance with leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to build productive carrier relationships and internal collaborations across departments.

Qualifications

• At least five years of progressive Employee Benefit insurance experience in an agency, brokerage, or consulting firm.
• Proven track record as a manager who built a profitable EB sales/service organization.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse internal stakeholders to deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs department management, including training, motivation, performance appraisal and salary recommendations.
• Oversees Select Business sales, service, and marketing for New England clients, impacting revenue and market utilization.
• Maintains knowledge of carrier trends, products, and compensation structures.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key executives within insurance carriers and vendors.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance offerings and accelerate initiatives across the team.
• Executes a strategic plan to build Select Business by market/state and potential M&A opportunities.
• Collaborates with Producers, VP Operations, and Leaders to ensure smooth onboarding and superior service metrics.
