Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field; 8 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional related experience with engineering consultants and/or elevators/escalators.
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination and maintenance of Third Party Contractors for LIRR Elevators & Escalators at all stations and facilities (70 total).
• Prepare, review and maintain TSOW and contractual documents for E&E; ensure compliance and safety standards.
• Manage the Elevator & Escalator Operations Center staff for safety, inspections and maintenance; generate status reports.
• Attend seminars and share knowledge with peers in the E&E Unit; lead by example in safety.
• Create and maintain a safe work environment per corporate guidelines and safety policies.
