Job summary

DoorDash, Inc. is seeking Senior Managers with strong operational and analytical backgrounds to own diagnostic work and scale durable solutions for DFS. You will partner with product, engineering, and operations to drive merchant selection and inventory health initiatives.

Leading 3-5 person teams, you will own end-to-end improvements, build dashboards, and establish DRIs, initiatives, dates, and goals for each root cause while maintaining accountability through launch and adoption.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years in data science, analytics, strategy and operations, consulting, retail or supply chain, incl. leadership of large cross-functional workstreams.
• You've built teams and grown analysts from individuals who can diagnose a problem into solution owners.
• Strong in SQL and comfortable using AI tools for analysis (Claude, Cursor); ability to build models and design experiments.
• Experience taking ambiguous operational problems from diagnosis to scaled, productized solutions in partnership with product & engineering.
• Ability to navigate between strategy and detail across product, engineering and site operations.

Responsibilities

• Merchant Selection: identify where to play and how to win, test and scale with partners.
• In-Stock: own availability across forecasting, replenishment, receiving and labor planning.
• Catalog: ensure the catalog promise is kept to avoid missing items or margin loss.
• Shrink: manage costs of the in-stock promise and balance availability vs waste.
