nVent is seeking a Sr Manager to elevate design quality, reliability, and development assurance across multiple business units. You will lead design reviews, establish engineering readiness, and drive rigorous verification and validation in a fast-paced NPI environment.

You will coach teams, define evidence requirements, and build scalable practices for process improvement, risk management, and reliability growth while partnering with PMO, Quality, and Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field required.
• 8+ years engineering experience in NPI or product development.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams or programs.
• Ability to influence engineering organizations and drive adoption of new practices.
• Experience with design reviews, technical reviews, and product governance.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, risk management, and systems engineering preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead and partner with engineering teams to establish design quality and development rigor.
• Develop standard engineering practices for design review methodologies.
• Define readiness expectations across product development lifecycle.
• Establish verification/validation strategies and traceability across programs.
• Build and scale Reliability and Development Assurance capabilities across units.
