Job summary

nVent is seeking a Quality Manager for its Northwest Houston facility. You will lead the quality management system, drive ISO compliance, audits, and document control, and champion continuous improvement across production and engineering teams.

You will develop, coach, and lead the quality team, implement control plans, and monitor performance metrics to ensure products meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 7+ years of quality experience in manufacturing, industrial, or construction products.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, audits and compliance.
• Experience leading root cause analyses, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to develop quality procedures, control plans, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site's quality management system including ISO compliance, audits, and document control.
• Drive product and process quality through inspection, testing, and quality control.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions to reduce scrap and rework.
• Partner with customers and internal teams to resolve quality concerns and improve satisfaction.
