Job summary

nVent is seeking a Quality Engineer II to anchor the quality function at our Blaine, MN site. You will liaison with customers and internal teams to ensure products meet stringent quality standards throughout production and new launches.

You will drive MRB decisions, manage NCRs, and lead root-cause analysis using Six Sigma methods. APQP tasks such as PFMEAs and FAI support are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Represent the Quality function and act as a primary liaison with customers.
• Lead and participate in MRB activities and disposition.
• Manage internal NCRs and external quality issues from identification to resolution.
• Lead Six Sigma (DMAIC) based problem solving and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Quality function and act as a primary liaison with customers, building strong relationships and confidence in our processes.
• Facilitate customer engagement at multiple levels and align on quality expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, operations and suppliers.
• Support production teams to ensure high-quality, compliant products are delivered.
