Job summary

nVent is seeking a senior Engineering leader to head the site mechanical and electrical teams, aligning resources with the annual plan and customer needs.

You will drive ETO engineering, implement standard design practices, mentor leaders, and push continuous improvement to exceed quality, delivery and efficiency targets.

A bachelor’s degree in engineering and 10+ years in engineering with 8+ years in leadership are required; AutoCAD/SolidWorks familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience with 8+ years in leadership.
• Experience in ETO operations, process improvement or technical program leadership.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site Engineering organization of Mechanical and Electrical teams.
• Prioritize engineering resources to meet customer and business demands.
• Coordinate with offshore and contract engineering resources for scalable capacity.
• Drive continuous improvement and establish standard design practices.
