Job summary

nVent Minneapolis is seeking a Senior Project Engineer/Manager to lead New Product Introduction projects through the Discover, Develop and Deploy stages. You will drive schedules, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time launches for branded platforms or customer-specific solutions.

Responsibilities include managing risk, ensuring regulatory and third-party testing, and collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Supply, ISC, and Quality.

Qualifications

• Lead teams to develop and design New Product Introduction products via a stage-gate process (Discover, Develop, Deploy).
• Coordinate project schedules and manage cross-functional activities with engineering, operations and sourcing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 360 tools; knowledge of Jira/Confluence is preferred.
• Ability to provide direction and foster open communication to resolve issues and improve collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project teams across PM, engineering, operations, supply and quality.
• Direct outside activities such as regulatory testing and third-party verification.
• Track project KPIs and mitigate risks with structured planning.
• Maintain a portfolio view to keep projects on-track and remove roadblocks.
• Travel approximately 10% domestically with potential international travel.
