Job summary

nVent seeks an Associate Director of Quality, Key Customer to shape and deliver Data Center Solutions quality strategy and serve as the primary quality owner for a critical customer. The role leads enterprise governance, multi-site execution, and strong supplier networks while embedding prevention and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include owning customer KPIs, driving QMS compliance (ISO 9001), and partnering with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to embed quality in design,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Science or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years with multi-site/global leadership in Quality/Operations/Engineering.
• Proven enterprise-quality initiative leadership and complex customer relationships.
• Deep expertise in QMS, standards and regulatory requirements (ISO 9001).

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise quality strategy and governance across Data Center Solutions.
• Own customer quality KPIs including PPM, complaints, CAPAs and audits.
• Drive QMS alignment with digital quality systems and platforms.
• Oversee supplier quality strategy and supplier qualification programs.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma initiatives and develop enterprise dashboards.
